New Ear's world premiere of “The Martian Chronicles” by Paul Rudy
featuring local saxophonist Mark Southerland
The New Ear Contemporary Chamber will present one concert, “Strangely Familiar,” in two venues. The first half of the program, which includes intriguing contemporary fare by Anna Clyne, Thomas Adès, Chong Kee Yong and Lee Hyla, will be in All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church. After intermission the concert will move across the street to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art for the world premiere of “The Martian Chronicles” by Paul Rudy featuring local saxophone genius Mark Southerland.
